nmusdFCA Leadership BBQ

Student leaders from Newport Harbor, Corona del Mar, Estancia, and Costa Mesa set all school rivalries aside and came together for a night of fun, food, and fellowship. The students took advantage of the unique opportunity to unify under their shared passion for Christ and seeing the Gospel spread on their campus. They were reminded of the importance of mimicking Christ and acting as “servant leaders” while being a light for their peers. They then broke off by school to vision cast for their campus.

Here are some of their goals for this year:

We want to find people at our school to meet Jesus, even one is a success.

We want the leadership team to become a family.

We want to have accountability partners on leadership.

We want to represent Christ not just with our words, but also with our actions.

We want to be more involved with sports ministry.

We want our leadership team to be strong and committed.

We want to be the hands and feet of God.

We want to build more trust between our leaders and have strong community.

We want to put a prayer request box in the administration office.

We want to make sure people know FCA is about more than just free pizza.

The students left the barbecue ready to kick off FCA at each of their schools with renewed passion and vision! Keep them in your prayers as they minister to their peers this year!
