Matt Proper has had an impressive athletic career. After being named All-American while playing volleyball at Penn State, Proper graduated in 2006 and spent three and a half years as a professional volleyball player overseas. Throughout his athletic journey, Proper developed four key points that helped him achieve his dreams.
When Proper came to CdM middle school, he encouraged the students to write down ten goals that they had. He then offered them these four pieces of advice:
1. Have a good attitude
2. Be self-disciplined
3. Have perseverance
4. Keep your faith your top priority
The students left impacted by Proper’s personal journey and inspired to follow God as they pursue the dreams He has placed int their hearts.
